How do I determine what size aluminum shoe I need? |
|
|
Our aluminum shoes are sized based on the width and length of your horse's foot. The most important measurement is the width at the widest point of the foot.

| How many degrees does the Redden Modified Ultimate raise the heel off the ground? | |
|
The Modified Ultimate has two 5 degree wedges and the breakover at the toe allows an additional 10 degrees for a maximum 20 degree increase in palmar angle.

| Is there a diference between gray and pink Advance Cushion Support (ACS)? | |
|
No. They are the same material and derometer (hardness) and the color is simply a personal choice.

| How do I determine which side of the foot to place the Dalric Extension on? | |
|
If the foal toes in (varus), the extension should be on the outside (lateral). If the foal toes out (valgus), the extension should be on the inside (medial).

| Can I reset your aluminum four point shoes? | |
|
Yes but it is not recommended due to wear. Dr. Redden recommends resetting every four weeks.
