The Hoofjack Hot Fit Plate screws directly to the base of the Standard and Medium Hoofjack. It was designed to protect the plastic base and give you a place to put hot shoes before nailing them on.  Four pan head screws come with the pre-drilled aluminum plate so installation is very simple.
