How can I find the right size horseshoe for my horse?

To find the right size horseshoe for your horse, measure the width and length of your horse's foot. The most important measurement is the width at the widest point of the foot.

What size drill bit should I use for the nail holes in NANRIC aluminum shoes?

Dr. Redden recommends using a 9/64" drill bit for nail holes in our shoes. He drills straight and at an angle so the nail can be pitched as needed.

What nails does Dr. Redden recommend for NANRIC therapeutic horseshoes?

Accepted Answer

Dr. Redden recommends using MX 50 nails for 95% of our therapeutic horseshoes. For thinner walls, he prefers JC nails, and for racehorses, he uses JC 2x0 nails.

Can I reset your aluminum shoes?

Yes but it is not recommended due to wear. Dr. Redden recommends resetting every four weeks.

How many degrees does the NANRIC Ultimate raise the heel off the ground?

The NANRIC Ultimate raises the heel 8 degrees and the breakover at the toe allows an additional 10 degrees for a maximum 18 degree increase in palmar angle.

Is there a difference between the gray and pink Advance Cushion Support (ACS)?

Accepted Answer

No, there is no difference. Both the gray and pink Advance Cushion Support (ACS) are made of the same material and have a durometer (hardness) rating of 60. The color is simply a personal choice.

How do I determine which side of the foot to place the Medial/Lateral Dalric Extension on?

If the foal toes in (varus), the extension should be on the outside (lateral). If the foal toes out (valgus), the extension should be on the inside (medial).

**Shipping:**
We ship via FedEx, UPS, DHL (International), and US Postal. International freight is quoted after the order is placed to find the best and most economical option.

**International Orders:**
International freight cannot be calculated online. A $5.00 delivery fee is shown at checkout, which is not the actual freight amount. We will email you a quote after weighing your order. Once you choose a freight option and pay, we will ship your order. You may be responsible for duties and taxes upon arrival. If an order is returned due to unpaid duties, we will refund the order minus the return freight charges.

**Satisfaction Guarantee:**
We guarantee your satisfaction with our products. If you are not satisfied, please call us at 877-462-6742 or 502-839-6742. We value your feedback and want you to have a great experience with NANRIC.

**Returns:**
You can return items within 30 days of shipment for a refund or replacement. Items must be in new, unused condition. A 20% restocking fee may apply, and shipping charges are non-refundable. Biotin 100 sales are final and non-returnable.

When returning an item, include the reason for the return. We recommend insuring your return as we are not responsible for lost returns. A credit will be issued to your credit card and confirmed via email.

Contact us for USPS Flat Rate box shipping rates.  877-462-6742 or sales@nanric.com.
Some items (a couple pair of horseshoes) will fit in a USPS Flat Rate Padded Envelope for $12.95. 
You can choose the online Priority Mail option for 1-2 bags of our Biotin 100 for $19.19 ($20.00 to AK & HI) as it fits in a Medium Flat Rate Box.

Can you ship international orders?

International freight cannot be accurately calculated online.  For all international orders, you will only see a $5.00 Delivery fee for shipping at checkout. This is not the freight amount.  We deduct this prepaid amount from the international freight quote emailed to you after we prepare your order and determine freight options.  Once you reply with your freight option, we then email you an online invoice for freight payment.
