1 pair of NANRIC Mega Ultimate Derotation Sandals only.
NOTE: This is a Mega Ultimate Cuff with the toe cutout to aid in toe elevation for derotation. It is not a complete NANRIC Mega Ultimate.
Currently only available in size 8.5 but more sizes coming soon.
Dimensions of the Mega Ult Sandal 8.5 - 5 1/8"W x 6"L
The NANRIC Mega Ultimate can accommodate 5 to 10 degrees derotation when using the #1 and occasionally the #2 toe inserts (depending on toe angle and length). However, the front of the cuff must be cut out to accommodate the #2, #3, or #4 toe insert necessary to realign the wings with load surface (zero PA) and to maintain max heel mass (20 mm minimum) when possible.
The NANRIC Mega Ultimate Derotation Sandal is a new, improved aid to derotate when the Palmar Angle (PA) is greater than 5 to 10 degrees due to chronic laminitis.
Once the heel has been trimmed to zero capsule PA, the new cutout design of the Mega Ultimate Sandal allows the toe to extend forward and there is adequate room to prop up with the necessary toe insert. When applied as instructed, the Mega Ultimate DerotationSandal can offer pain relief while promoting sole and horn growth.
